When making a rental order, either through our website or through our form, the customer accepts and confirms that you have read the terms and conditions established by The Globalplus. The client will choose the start and end date of the rental of the satellite equipment through our website or form. The Globalplus will have 24 working hours to confirm the availability of the equipment, by means of an electronic mail. Once the availability is confirmed, the client must complete and sign the rental request to finalize the reservation.

Cancellation policies:

  1. In rental contracts canceled 7 days before the rental start date, 50% of the total rental amount will be reimbursed. The prepaid minutes will be refunded in full.
  2. Rental agreements canceled 2 days before the rental start date are not reimbursed. The prepaid minutes will be refunded in full.

Rental charges

The Client agrees to pay the rental charges, the deposit and any other applicable fee in advance before sending the equipment to the shipping address designated by the Customer. The Customer will return the equipment at the end of the Effective date of the rental, otherwise the fee for each day of delay will be charged as of the second day of delay. Until The Globalplus receives the Equipment, the Customer will remain subject to these terms and conditions.

The Client will be entitled to change the rental date upon request 7 days before the rental start date and The Globalplus will change to the new requested period, subject to the availability of the equipment.

The Globalplus will use the information of the credit card supplied as a reservation, to be used in the event that additional charges are incurred, such as delayed delivery, additional airtime plans or damage or loss of the equipment. Upon receiving The Globalplus the rental team will immediately take any payment owed from the customer's credit card without the need for additional authorization.

The Client shall be responsible for obtaining any license or permit from any governmental or regulatory agency that may be necessary or imposed on the operation of the Equipment. The Client will exercise due care with the Equipment and will only allow qualified personnel to use and operate the Equipment. The Customer will not use or operate the Equipment illegally or for any illegal purpose or in violation of any ordinance or regulation of the law. The Client is responsible for reimbursing The Globalplus for the cost of any rental equipment confiscated in such circumstances. Customers wishing to operate satellite phones in foreign territories are required to obtain all licenses or approvals required to operate within that territory. The Globalplus will not be responsible for the use of its equipment or time of use in countries or territories without a license.

The shipping and collection costs must be paid by the client, unless otherwise agreed between the parties before the reservation. The shipping and collection costs described on our website are applicable only for shipments to the Peninsula. If the equipment has to be sent outside the peninsula, it must be previously notified to adjust the shipping and collection cost.

The Globalplus will test the equipment before sending it to the Client and will ensure that it is in good working order. The Client will inform Globalplus immediately if the equipment presents any failure. The Customer will be responsible for all malfunctions caused by the misuse of the equipment, also for damage, loss or theft of the equipment, except manufacturing defects and normal wear and tear. The following charges will be deducted from the Client's deposit and debited from the credit card.

All other damages or losses are subject to inspection and are charged at the cost of repair or replacement.

Additional rental terms of SPOT: The Globalplus will not be responsible for any expenses related to rescue operations resulting from the use of the emergency functions offered by the SPOT tracker, including the GEOS rescue expenses and any other emergency service or expenses related to medical care.
